We have put a great deal of effort into making Hogwasher stable and compatible with most news servers. However, in any piece of software as complex as Hogwasher, there is the potential for some bugs to exist. Additionally, some news servers do not strictly comply with the NNTP protocols. This can result in incompatibility with Hogwasher and other news software. However, many common problems are the result of incorrect TCP/IP configurations, ISP-specific problems, temporary problems with your news server, and other issues beyond our control. If you experience trouble using Hogwasher, please take the following steps to remedy the problem: 1) Check the online documentation (under the Help menu). Many common questions are answered there. 2) Check the frequently asked questions page. As support issues are raised, the FAQ page will be updated with the most current information. 3) If these steps do not solve the problem, use the Technical Support Request Form, or choose "Technical Support..." under the Hogwasher menu in Hogwasher to submit a request for support. |
